Choosing between ECO MIZER KH.4 G40, G60 and G80: start with the cylinder count

The three gasoline models are matched to the number of cylinders in the engine: 4, 6 or 8. Here is how to find yours and what to check before you order.

Choosing the right gasoline model is a short decision once you know one number: how many cylinders your engine has. The ECO MIZER KH.4 family is organized around it, so this is the first thing we ask for and the first thing to check.

The three gasoline models at a glance

Model Suited to
KH.4 G40 Gasoline vehicles with 4-cylinder engines
KH.4 G60 Gasoline vehicles with 6-cylinder engines
KH.4 G80 Gasoline vehicles with 8-cylinder engines

Each model has its own page with photographs and the details we publish. If your engine is a diesel, the KH.5D family is the one to look at; see the guide on diesel applications linked below.

Where to find your cylinder count

You do not need to open the hood. Any of these will tell you:

  • the owner’s manual, usually in the engine specification table;
  • the vehicle’s registration or specification sheet for your exact model and year;
  • the manufacturer’s published specification for the model, year and engine variant, since the same model name can be sold with more than one engine.

If two sources disagree, trust the one that names your exact engine variant, or send us the make, model and year and we will help you confirm it.

Why cylinders first, and engine size second

Engine size in liters or cubic centimeters is a useful second detail, but on its own it can mislead: engines of a similar size are not always built with the same number of cylinders. The cylinder count is the clearer, easier-to-verify description of the engine, which is why the KH.4 models are matched to it.

What to confirm before you order

  1. The engine runs on gasoline (not diesel or an LPG-only conversion).
  2. The number of cylinders, from a reliable source as above.
  3. The vehicle type and model year, so the team can see the whole picture.
  4. Whether the engine has been replaced or modified. If it has, tell us; the original specification may no longer describe what is under the hood.

If any of these is uncertain, send the details rather than guessing. Choosing a model after a short review costs less than correcting a wrong order.

What to expect from the product

ECO MIZER is designed to support more efficient combustion. How a vehicle responds depends on the vehicle itself, its condition, the fuel and how it is driven, so we make no promise about an individual vehicle. If you want to judge the result for yourself, the guide on measuring fuel consumption before and after explains a fair way to do it.

Next step

General information for orientation. Results depend on the vehicle, its condition, fuel and how it is driven; this guide makes no promise about any individual vehicle.
